Rhythm Exchange, a company that offers drumming lessons, hosts birthday parties and team-building workshops, is also open to people with various special needs. Founder Steven Zangwill says that “everyone becomes equal in drumming circles.”
In 2006, Zangwill was invited to the Summit School to work with special needs children and since then, he has offered drumming classes for children with autism spectrum disorders, Rett Syndrome, ADD as well as those with stress and anger issues.
